Essence provides a companion who will support you on a one to one basis, with key activities which please, enhance and maintain your good mental attitude and well-being. This might be having mornings out, company and conversation at home, day trips, going for your own shopping, choosing plants for your garden, or connecting with your family who live away…. you suggest and we will do our best to accommodate. Essence allows choices limited only by your own creativity and motivation, at the same time giving you a feeling of control over what you feel you want, rather than what the community might feel you need.

We are DIFFERENT to the regular care service providers which focus on personal care provision to enable people to stay in their own homes.
We take a step back and our focus is on enriching the lives of our clients by connecting them with the things they really enjoy, bringing to them a sense of purpose and belonging.

Our service is dedicated to providing quality support through companionship, to those who would like to continue with the small things they have always enjoyed, but are maybe finding it a little more difficult to maintain on their own, or would simply enjoy more, with company.
Recent illness, a knock to our confidence, loss of a partner, age or simply having to let go of the car can affect our well-being and desire to seek out those small activities which enhance our lives. Essence can support you to find and enjoy those things again.
Distance and work commitments often mean family members can not always devote the time they would like to with their loved ones. Relatives who might employ our services for their loved ones can be assured our staff are personable by nature and professional by standard, and can support their family member in a whole host of different ways.
